Hello people!

Its the june holidays.

And i hate it.

Spent the entire of the 1st week in sch attending lectures.

Have to rush out GPP by the end of the hols.

Have to finish studying the end of the hols

Mid-yrs at the beginning of the new term.

This is madness!

Watched Electra with Sherlyn and Carol yesterday at theVictoria Theatre.

There were 3 tickets as soem H2 lit students didnt want to go.

So we kinda jumped at the chance.

It only cost $4 per ticket!!

Anyway, i think its pretty okay.

Got abit confusing but later it sort of gets understood.

People who wanna know what Electra is about,

go wiki it.

And no, it is not about the movie!

That one is Elektra.

Note the difference! :D

Its a little creepy actually.

The nurses look alike and the actors really look insane.

The chorus seems a little nutty as well.

The entire play was in Japanese and Korean.

And we were sitting way front.

And the subtitles were on top.

So...

My poor neck.

Subtitles was crappy as well.

They only translated the main gist but not the entire ranting.

So when they rant for like 5mins or so, you only get one pathetic line.

Crappy subtitles aside,

the main idea of how the director used the mental institution and wheelchairs to signify the mental instability of the characters were rather interesting.

but the death of Orestes was not clearly explained.

So when he appeared after everyone said he was dead,

i interpreted the scene where Orestes killed his mother as part of Electra's imagination.

Its really quite interesting.

Watched Terminator Salvation in Malaysia today.

Not bad..

But Christian Bale looked hotter in Batman.

hehs.

There's school tomorrow!!
